Host Districts

The six Sponsoring Districts cover Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Tennessee with a total of 273 clubs and 13,657 Rotarians with District 6840 as the Host District.

District 6840 covers southeast Louisiana and Mississippi which includes the beautiful City of New Orleans. There are 55 clubs with 2,444 members. The District includes the Mississippi Gulf Coast which has breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico with clean beaches.

District 6200 in southwest Louisiana has 51 clubs with 2,516 members and contains Baton Rouge, the capital of Louisiana. It also contains picturesque coastal towns such as Houma, Golden Meadow, and Lafayette, which have the “Cajun” flavor that is so popular.

District 6150 covers Arkansas and has 50 clubs with 2,339 members. This District includes Arkansas’ capital of Little Rock, which is home to the Clinton Presidential Center and Park as well as many historic sites.

District 6190 is located in North Louisiana with 33 clubs having 1,674 members. It includes Alexandria, Shreveport, Monroe, and historic Natchitoches, which was established in 1714 and is the oldest permanent settlement in the Louisiana Purchase. The Kisatchie National Forest is located within D6190 and is a site to behold.

District 6800 includes parts of Mississippi and Tennessee and has 42 clubs with 2,225 members. It includes Memphis, Tennessee, the city known for Beale Street Blues, fabulous barbeque, and Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley.

District 6820 covers the remaining part of Mississippi with 44 clubs having 2,459 members. This District includes Jackson, the State’s capital, and the historic cities of Natchez and Vicksburg all displaying true Southern Hospitality.
