Time is truly running out. Please don’t miss the opportunity
to attend a Rotary International Convention this
close by. New Orleans is a great destination anytime,
but a Rotary International Convention is an amazing one
of a kind event. You’ll never understand what the Rotary
organization means until you experience the internationality
of a convention. On-line registration is closed,
but you can register on site. Call now and reserve a
room, sign up for an HOC event, make reservations at
one of the great restaurants within walking distance of
the convention center and pack your bags. Then, call
and invite your friends to join you in letting the Good
Times Roll—Again!

Great news! For the first time, Rotary International is offering a one day House of Friendship pass Saturday
May 21st only for $40.00. If you cannot attend International Convention in it’s entirety, this is a great opportunity
to get a taste of the true internationality of Rotary. There will be displays and entertainment. There will be
sales booths for Rotary items as well as booths for many unique gifts. Rotary clubs and organizations set up booths to promote their projects.
You can get many ideas and have the opportunity to connect with international clubs and partner with them on projects. The House of
Friendship also has food booths. You can spend the day enjoying meeting Rotarians from around the world and browsing the booths. (See
pages 6 through 8 for information and forms.)

will be here. Be sure that you don’t wait too late to
make your arrangements for the convention. Register
today if you haven’t done so. Encourage your district
and club members to register now. Reserve your hotel
room. Sign up for Host events and activities. Volunteer
to help at the convention. (Look for information in this
newsletter.) Act now so you won’t miss this exciting
opportunity. We depend on you to get the word out to
your district’s Rotarians. We can’t slow down now.

» Official 2011 RI Convention Street Banner
For the first time, Rotarians have a chance to own a piece of RI Convention history. Each 2'x5' banner can be personalized with up to three lines of information – your name, your Rotary title, your Club's name, your district, and your zone are some examples.
Each banner will be displayed on the route from the New Orleans Airport to the New Orleans Convention Center, site of the 2011 Rotary International Convention.
